Kybervega / Cookies Policy
Cookies Policy
1. What this page covers
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on kybervega.com, and how to control them. See also our Privacy Policy.
2. How we use them
Kybervega uses two kinds of technology. Necessary technologies keep the site working and remember your preferences; they operate as required and are not switched off by the choices described below. Analytics (audience measurement) uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure how the site is used.
Analytics is enabled by default, and Kybervega does not show a consent pop-up when you arrive. Browsing the site is not treated as consent and is not recorded as a choice. If you do not change the default, analytics stays active. You can expressly opt out at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer (see section 5). Kybervega does not use advertising cookies and does not currently run advertising or remarketing tags. Fonts are served from this website. Images may be delivered through an image-optimisation service.
3. What may be stored on your device
The table lists what may be stored, and when.
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Duration | Set when |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors so aggregate usage statistics can be compiled | Up to 2 years | On your first visit and while analytics is enabled. Not set, and removed where practical, if you opt out | |
_ga_<ID> | Maintains session state for Google Analytics 4 | Up to 2 years | As above | |
cmplz_banner-status | Kybervega (preference manager) | Remembers that you have used Cookie Settings | 1 year | When you make a choice in Cookie Settings |
cmplz_functional, cmplz_statistics and related cmplz_ items | Kybervega (preference manager) | Record your choice: necessary functionality is always allowed; analytics is allowed or opted out | 1 year | When you make a choice in Cookie Settings |
A visitor who has made no choice has no stored choice, and is not treated as having opted out.
4. What each choice does
- You browse the site and do nothing: analytics stays on, and no choice is recorded.
- You open Cookie Settings and select “Accept”: analytics stays on, and your choice is remembered.
- You open Cookie Settings and select “Opt out of analytics”: Google Analytics and any optional analytics tags stop, the analytics cookies we set are removed where practical, and your choice is remembered. The preference cookies above and necessary functionality continue.
- Your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal: Kybervega does not currently treat it as an opt-out. Use “Opt out of analytics” or Cookie Settings on this site instead.
- You change your mind later: use Cookie Settings to opt out, or to switch analytics back on.
5. Your choices
You can opt out, or switch analytics back on, at any time using Cookie Settings, a link in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of some websites may not work as expected.
6. Links to other sites and affiliate measurement
If you follow a link to a third-party site, that site may set its own cookies, including cookies that attribute a referral to an affiliate or referral arrangement. Those are governed by that site’s policies. Solutions pages contain affiliate links. While analytics is enabled, Kybervega’s own analytics records clicks on them (which provider, offer and page position was clicked, and the page it was on) without the link’s query string or any personal data. This is explained in our Affiliate Disclosure and can be switched off through Cookie Settings.
7. Changes
We may update this page if the technologies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
